About this event

Your local AAUW and LWV invites you to protest the continued inequity of pay for women in this country by marching with signs and joining in solidarity for change! Marchers will meet and rally beginning at 5:30 pm at the Main Street Metra Train Station. Bring you own sign or grab a sign we provide. At 6:00 pm the group will march around downtown Downers Grove with signs and slogans, ending up at Another Round for food and beverages you purchase on your own. Folks who do not want to march can go directly to Another Round at 6 pm. We will share stories, data and take action to advocate for better policies for women in the work place.
